Winter is coming, and your horses will need to be assisted to keep warm with blankets. So before the snow comes, you should go out and buy a blanket to help your horse stay warm in the winter.
I hate to see all the snow in the picture but you are right, too many people just assume that a horse will be warm enough. Yes, they do get a thicker winter coat but just like any animal they will get cold if the weather is cold enough. Great lookin out for the horses!!!
I always feel sad when I drive by a farm on a cold winter day and I see a bunch of horses huddled together trying to keep warm. I wish horse owners would take better care of their animals
